P&J Sprinkler Company Inc. History
P&J Sprinkler Company Inc. was founded in July 1968 by Paul and Janice Walencewicz. In the beginning, Paul worked out of their home / garage in
Willimantic, Connecticut. Paul began in the fire sprinkler industry in 1951 working for the Grinnell Corporation. His "old time " value of providing prompt, professional service combined
with quality workmanship are at the core of what our company represents to this day.
Today, we operate from a modern business facility at 67 Main Street, Willimantic, Ct. We continue to design, install, inspect, test and service fire
sprinkler systems. Paul remains a part of our company, working part time in a more relaxed capacity. We continue to be a leader in our industry by constantly seeking new and challenging projects with
an approach that combines our years of experience coupled with the latest technologies.
We began our residential fire sprinkler system design and installation work in 1984. In 1991 we were one of the first companies on the East Coast to
use the Victaulic Presfit system. In 2001 we started using the Flexhead product as a norm for center of tile sprinkler head installations. NFPA 25 Inspection and testing reports are done on pocket
PC's.
